Letter from Fr. King

Dear New Members of the Guardian Angels Family,

     Welcome!
It is my belief that God has sent you to this parish to be your spiritual home. You are a gift from God. As God’s family, we will be a source of blessing for one another by “worshipping together, sharing our lives and faith, supporting and caring for one another as we strive to live the gospel of Jesus Christ,” as our parish prayer proclaims.
One of the main ways in which we share our lives and support one another is by our participation in Parish Service Organizations (PSOs). Through the gift of your time and God-given talents, your spiritual life and the life of our parish is enriched and made more fruitful. We have many PSOs and you will find them listed with the contact person in your Guardian Angels Parish Guide Book and Directory.
We are very blessed to be neighbors of the Athenaeum of Ohio, Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary of the West. Fr. David Sunberg, a Spiritual Director and Director of the Permanent Diaconate program at the seminary, helps us on weekends and at times during the week, along with a number of other priests-faculty from the seminary. It is a magnificent campus and I encourage you to take advantage of their public lectures and liturgical celebrations.
I look forward to meeting you and being together each weekend at our Saturday evening Mass or one of our Sunday Masses where we offer to God our love, praise, and gratitude.
     Again, welcome to our family.

God Bless

Father Tom King
