40 Days for Life

Recognizing that “with God, all things are possible,” our parish community joins with hundreds of other cities for the global 40 Days for Life every spring and fall – the largest internationally coordinated pro-life mobilization in history.

40 Days for Life is a peaceful, prayerful – and proven effective – pro-life campaign that has already been embraced by more than half a million people worldwide, saved 13,998 babies lives saved, 170 abortion workers converted, and 90 centers closed.

40 Days for Life features three components:

Prayer and Fasting: Join together with other believers for 40 days of fervent prayer and fasting for an end to abortion.

Peaceful Vigil: Stand for life during a 40-day peaceful public witness outside of Planned Parenthood at 2314 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219.

Community Outreach: Bring a positive, pro-life message to every corner of our city through media efforts, advocacy, and public visibility

We hope every parishioner can volunteer for one of the three components.

The upcoming campaign begins February 14th and goes through March 25th. GA has committed to cover the first day, Wednesday, February 14th, from 7am - 7pm, and on Wednesday, March 21st. For more information about the 40 Days For Life initiative, or to sign-up online, click here. Sign-up sheets will also be posted on the bulletin boards in the gathering space as the dates near. Any questions, please contact Luann Rowekamp.
