New Fan & Clean Air Systems Being Installed

The AC is back on! The unit went out in mid-June. The very large fan needed to be replaced, as did the attendant wiring and duct work. The new fan system is now up and running. The cost to replace the system was about $50,000.

The  company doing the repairs has suggested that we install in the school and in the church a Bi-Polar Ionization system; GPS-Global Plasma Solutions, that kills viruses, mold spores and bacteria, delivering even cleaner indoor air. This system better captures small particulates (ie. viruses, mold spores, and bacteria) that standard filters miss, delivering clean indoor air that is safe and healthy. You can read more about the system through links below. The cost of this system for the church and school is about $45,000.

Once the particulars of this solution became known, Fr King, other parish leaders, and the Financial Operations Board felt that designating the necessary funds was another important step in providing the best possible environment to our parishioners and school children, especially given the current situation. In fact, some of our parishioners have already demonstrated their passion for this move by making special donations to help mitigate the cost. If this is something you would like to make a contribution towards, donations can be made through the link below.
