Middle School Ministry: Behold! Lent Day Retreat

Behold! is a day retreat at the parish that will help youth in grades 6-8 dive into an experience of Holy Week. We'll enter the mysteries of the season through testimonies, games, small groups, praise and worship, and an interactive Stations of the Cross There will also be a chance to play the EXTREMELY popular game "Find the Light!"  This is such a wonderful way for our youth to center themselves before we as a Church celebrate and remember the greatest act of Love - Jesus dying for us 

Participation in this retreat requires that your child have forms on file with the youth office (releases are attached). Youth are asked to bring their form and a snack/drink to share when they arrive.

Approximate Schedule:

3:00 pm -  Check-In & Games

3:30 pm - Opening Remarks, Rules & Expectations, Opportunity for Confession

4:00 pm - Talk #1 (Palm Sunday)

4:30 pm - Small Group #1

5:00 pm - Mass with parish

6:00 pm - Dinner

6:30 pm - Game

6:45 pm - Talk #2 (Holy Thursday)

7:00 pm - Small Group # 2

7:30 pm - Prayer/Praise & Worship in Church

8:00 pm - Small Group Snack Break

8:15 pm - Interactive Stations of the Cross

8:45 pm - Find the Light

9:45 pm - Closing Talk & Prayer

10:00 pm - Disimissal
