Annulment

Annulment
According to the laws of the Catholic Church, an annulment declares that the marriage union is not spiritually binding for life, even if the wedding was celebrated in the Catholic Church.  It is not the Church's approval of a civil divorce or dissolution. The annulment does not place blame on one party or the other for failure of the marriage.  The only direct effect of a declaration of nullity is on the parties, regarding their freedom to marry in the Catholic Church.
If you are interested in an annulment, please contact the parish office where you are registered as a parishioner.
