Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join us at Chosen: Called To Be More, a Catholic youth rally, on Saturday, November 8. There will be a concurrent session for parents. The event takes place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montgomery from 5:00-9:30pm. You can find more information about the event online. The cost is $10 per person, and registrations must be handled through the parish. To register, please email Bradley Barnes, Director of Youth Ministry, at [email protected] or call him at 624-3148. We will also be welcoming any adult chaperones who would like to attend with our group. All volunteers must be VIRTUS certified AND have a current background check.
Encounter is a ministry for youth from across the Archdiocese who desire to grow closer to the Lord. Centered around a dynamic encounter of Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist, these quarterly youth events include high energy praise and worship, talks from some of the best local voices in youth ministry, and a holy hour where young people can come to Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
There is an Encounter event for every season, and Guardian Angels will always look to bring youth whenever these nights are offered. The events are typically for 8th-12th grade youth.
