The Advent event for Grades 6-8 is a retreat hosted at Guardian Angels on December 10th. This event will have talks, activities games, and more. Because of the Christmas concert the next day, this has been changed from an overnight retreat to a one-day retreat.

We'll enter the mysteries of the season through testimonies, games, small groups, praise and worship, and an interactive Stations of the Infant Jesus. This is such a wonderful way for our youth to center themselves before we as a Church celebrate and remember the Incarnation - God humbling Himself and sending His Son to us!

There is a cost of $10 for the retreat (covers operating costs and food). If this is a barrier to your student's participation, please contact Bradley for a scholarship to the retreat. We want everyone to come who is able!

There will be an additional release form required for this event (attached). Youth are asked to bring their form and a snack/drink to share when they arrive.

8:30 pm - Small Group Snack Break
8:45 pm - Prayer/Praise & Worship in Church
9:00 pm - Stations of the Infant Jesus
9:45 pm - Find the Light
10:30 pm - Break
10:45 pm - Talk in Church
11:00 pm - Dismissal
